TRAINER PERKS ○ NORMALCY - (Battling) Normal-Type Pokemon trained by Crystal take additional reduced damage from Normal-Typed moves - including recoil damage. ○ PAYCHECK - (Training) Crystal has trained her Pokemon to pick up currency. At the end of each of Crystal's threads, she rolls a single d6 die. If she rolls a 6 or a 1, she stumbles across 100 Pokedollars. If she rolls any other number, nothing happens. ○ ACROBATICS - (Unique) Crystal herself is capiable of coordinated acrobatics and feats of agility. ○ REGAL ELITE - As a member of the Elite Four, this character is allowed a single team of five Pokémon up to Level 50, usable wherever and however they see fit. These teams must adhere to a singular Type which cannot be shared by other members of the Elite Four or any Gym Leaders of their region. The Elite Four have greater League authority than Gym Leaders and have limited degrees of influence in regards to the affairs of law enforcement and the Pokémon Rangers. Crystal Knight was born into a family of trainers - all devoted to battling and raising Pokemon. Her own father ran a gym in the Johto region before retiring, specializing in the Fighting-Type. Her mother was equally as rugged, being a member of the Elite Four and having some of the strongest Rock-Type Pokemon around. Both parents expected and wanted a child that would take up their hardened demeanor and continue the intimidation of the family name.
This was something they did not get in Crystal, not in the sense they thought, anyway.
She would rather play with dolls than do chores or any sort of hard work, actively disobeying her parents time after time during her childhood. Training Pokemon did not truly interest her, but rather collecting and befriending them, ultimately leading her on a path to becoming a Pokemon Breeder.
The young Breeder's natural skill did not go unchecked, however. In a ever so casual manner, she defeated each and every gym in the Johto Region, and continued on to challenge the Elite Four. Though she did not make it to the champion, her skill was recognized, and she was given the option to join the ranks of the strongest members of the Pokemon League.
Being somewhat vain, there was simply no way Crystal could refuse.
